Our Platform is a hyperlocal product discovery service that provides users with information about products available at nearby physical retail stores. The Platform does not facilitate purchases or payment transactions and serves only as an informational tool to help users locate products in physical stores.

• "User" / "You" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform.
• "Merchant" / "Store" refers to retail establishments whose product information appears on the Platform.
• "Content" refers to all information, data, text, images, listings, and other materials available on the Platform.
• "Account" refers to the user profile created to access certain features of the Platform.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3.2 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, which may include:

• Full name
• Email address (currently only Gmail addresses are supported)
• Password

Mobile phone numbers are collected only for store owner accounts. We may collect phone numbers from users in the future if required for additional features.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Allow others to access your account
• Create multiple accounts for fraudulent or abusive purposes

3.4 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities
• Providing false or misleading information
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

4. Use of the Platform

4.1 License Grant

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of such information. Product details are provided by Merchants or third-party sources.

5.2 No Guarantee of Availability

The display of a product on the Platform does not guarantee:

• Current stock availability
• Accuracy of quantities
• Accuracy of product specifications

Users should verify details directly with the store before visiting.

5.3 Price Information

Prices displayed on the Platform are provided by Merchants and are subject to change. Shomay is not responsible for pricing disputes between Users and Merchants.

6. No Transaction Facilitation

6.1 Informational Service Only

The Platform:

• Does not process payments
• Does not sell products
• Does not facilitate transactions
• Does not act as an agent for Users or Merchants

6.2 Merchant Responsibility

All purchases and interactions occur directly between Users and Merchants. We are not responsible for:

• Product quality or authenticity
• Refunds, returns, or exchanges
• Merchant business practices
• Fulfillment or delivery issues

6.3 Advertising, Promotions, and Discounts

The Platform may display:

• Promotional banners
• Sponsored listings
• Discount or offer-related content

Sponsored content may receive enhanced visibility. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or fulfillment of offers or discounts shown on the Platform.

We may introduce third-party advertising services in the future. Any such changes will be reflected in updated Terms and Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Platform Ownership

The Platform and all Content, including software, design, text, images, logos, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to Shomay and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

• Your use of the Platform
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of applicable laws or third-party rights

12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

12.2 Jurisdiction

Courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. General Provisions
